Like any vacation town, Islamorada has many very unique clothing - boutiques, jewelry & watches, along with home decor shopping for beautiful coastal furnishings.

Using a bike to shop is a wonderful way to get around to the many stores in the area.  Make sure you have a big enough basket for your purchases!

Not in any particular order, below are stores on Plantation Key with a quick description of several we always make sure we visit.

VILLAGE SQUARE which houses Bad Boy Burrito and a nice boutique with gifts and clothing.

Below are the two favorites my friends always want to visit! Ocean Gardens and the Exotic Island Decor next to each other.

Need some cigars or liquor?  In Florida you can only buy beer & wine at the local grocery - and then find a liquor store for the rest!  Martinis, The Whistle Stop and The Nest sell liquor on Plantation Key of Islamorada.

Morada Way, known as Islamorada's Art District holds the monthly "Art Walk" the 3rd Thursday of each month.  I highly recommend coming to this event when in town!  It is from 5-9pm and offers live music, food, and many local artists and vendors.

Don't forget the side street (Morada Way located across from the Worldwide Sportsman) which has more artisans and shops too!  Also, the Florida Keys Brewery "original" start up location is at the end of this side street.  This location is only open Art Walk and other special event dates.  Check it out!

For budget items, t shirts, great shoe selection visit the Sandal Factory / T-Shirt City.  Originally several different shops and now one HUGE store for men, women, and kids.

Another great stop is the Seaside Glassworks.  This woman makes the most beautiful glass earrings, necklaces, and pendants.  I have ALWAYS had a compliment when wearing one of the pendants.  Other home decor items made of glass are also inside this unique shop.

The Banyan Tree is worthy of a stop "just to see the tree in the garden!"

Boat supplies in Islamorada?  West Marine and Worldwide Sportsman's have all you need for getting out on the water.

The Otherside is housed next to the Bayside Gourmet.  Athletic active wear can be found inside.

Always great to have on hand - with tastings available for free is the Olive Morada.

Although this shop looks small, the Mystical Mermaid it extends pretty far back and is quite large inside!

Cigars in the Keys is the Best cigar shop in Islamorada!  Nice owners too and very helpful if you don't know anything about cigars.  For any budget.

Best unique Islamorada shops are numerous!   Find clothing boutiques, jewelry, watches, art, home decor with beautiful coastal furnishings.  There are many more, which is why I highly recommend you take a day on a bike and just stop at each place and enjoy a day of Islamorada shopping.  While shopping you may enjoy some other bike stops along the way for some shade and a rest... or perhaps a bathroom?
